Visa allowing the foreign fiancé(e) of a U.S. citizen to enter the U.S. and marry within 90 days.
The K-1 visa is filed by the U.S. citizen on Form I-129F. After consular processing abroad, the foreign fiancé(e) enters the U.S. and must marry the petitioner within 90 days. After marriage, the foreign spouse files Form I-485 for adjustment of status to lawful permanent resident.
