Waiver
A USCIS approval forgiving a ground of inadmissibility.
Several inadmissibility grounds — unlawful presence, certain crimes, misrepresentation — may be waived if the applicant can demonstrate extreme hardship to a qualifying relative. Waivers are filed on Forms I-601, I-601A, or I-212, depending on the ground.
