A USCIS notice that the agency plans to deny a case unless the applicant overcomes specific concerns.
A NOID is more serious than an RFE — USCIS has tentatively decided to deny the case but is giving the applicant one more chance to address specific evidentiary or legal concerns. The response window is typically 30 days.
